Peace
poetry

When I close my eyes, I dream of a world in peace. A world where hope and love will never cease.
A life that has no complaints and no sorrow,
A place that is guaranteed a greater tomorrow.
When I close my eyes, I see kids of all races playing and laughing together,
With no mothers and fathers separating them from each other.
I see a world of every race coming together and uniting,
A world where there is no such thing as fighting.
But when I open my eyes,
All I see is the opposite.
Fighting, cursing, killing why can’t we just stop it? Stop it and close our eyes for a short eternity, And make our dreams become the best reality.
